I've just returned from using this Sat Nav on an 1,100 mile tour of the Scottish Highlands and the only time I went wrong was down to driver error. This was resolved by the unit quickly recalculating. It is very easy to set up and use with a screen that didn't pick-up any unwanted reflections.
Here’s what one of the owners had to say about the Garmin nüvi 1300 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator :
Pros: Map displayCons: Buttons not responsive, poor GPS signalI expected more from this product because of its price. I bought a $20 GPS from Radio Shack last Christmas and it responds quicker than this Garmin. I chose this product for the Lifetime maps and its reviews. Biggest complaint is the lack of responsiveness when you press down on the buttons. ( UserFriendly )

I have always been a fan of Whistler radar detectors, and this one is no different! I bought this, and it works like a charm, however. . . . . I didn t realize that the blue LED s would be so bright. I figured that the brightness of the LED s may give a reason for a cop to pull me over (seeing blue flashes coming from my dash), so I put some electric tape over them (in a cone type fashion, so I can see the flashes, but the oncoming traffic cannot).
Here’s what one of the owners had to say about the Whistler XTR-140 Laser/Radar Detector with Exclusive Twin Alert Periscopes :
Pros: Fairly easy to install and use, pretty accurate, compact, priceCons: Radar detection behind carI have used this detector for a little while now and so far has been excellent. For 46 bucks you can't beat it. It has detected several different radar bands and only has a few false alarms. ( bsho )
