I ve purchased and returned the Microsoft Fingerprint Reader (MFR) twice. The 1st time because I was unhappy with it s log-in accuracy, the 2nd time because of numerous bugs and glitches with the Persona software that powers the device. The 2nd time around, the accuracy was much better, I suspect because during fingerprint registration I pressed harder down on the screen, giving the MFR a better snapshot of my fingerprint.
